Not familiar with Zojirushi? They are famous for their rice makers and bread machines but do have other products such as this electric grill. They’ve been manufacturing quality products for the last 90 years.

So let’s talk about the Zojirushi EB-DLC10. At just under 15 x 11 inches, the cooking surface is a respectable size. Assuming you have a regular sized family you’ll be able to grill enough on it for a meal. The surface itself is non-stick and enhanced with titanium so cleanup is a breeze and nothing like what you have to deal with on your barbeque grills. The grilling surface is also designed in such a way that cooking grease and fat drains away instead of leaving your food pooling in it. Much healthier! Of course that fat is going to fall into the included drip tray and this is where smoke can become an issue. Check the main index page of our indoor electric grill reviews for tips on how to deal with smoke!

Zojirushi EB-DLC10 Indoor Electric Grill Pros & Cons

Pros: Large cooking surface – Titanium enhanced non-stick grill – Easy to clean – Fat & grease are channeled away from food

Cons: No lid (Not an issue in my opinion. See below)

The Zojirushi EB-DLC10 Indoor Electric Grill is powered by 1500 watts. It’s not as powerful as the Emeril Gourmet Grill, but still puts out a respectable amount of heat. Temperatures on this model top out at 410°F. And this is where you really see the difference between an indoor and outdoor grill. The BBQ you have sitting on your deck or patio likely heats up to anywhere between 600 to 900 degrees. But ask yourself this: how often do you crank your BBQ up to full heat? If you’re like me you usually have the heat somewhere in the midrange, so that 410° is going to do you just fine. Having said that you may find that you’re grilling time may need to be a bit longer than what you are used to when grilling outdoors since there is a good chance even set at High, the Zojirushi EB-DLC10 isn’t going to be as hot as your BBQ set at medium. Using a meat thermometer is always a good idea if you can’t tell doneness at glance.

Some people prefer indoor grills that come with a lid, and I can see the advantage of that. However, I’ve owned an indoor grill with a lid and the lid was so shallow it was almost pointless. I couldn’t fit the lid over your food most of the time and ended up hardly ever using it. So think of that when other manufactures are touting the fact that their model comes with a lid.

The Zojirushi EB-DLC10 Indoor Electric Grill also comes with a nice long power cord at just over 5 feet. Which is great! Appliances with short power cords are a pain in the you know what.
